Description
A pretty street in 17th century Acebuchal in the Sierras of Tejeda, Andlaucia, Spain, sits on a traditional muleteers' route between Granada and Malaga. In 1948 after the Civil War finished, the authorities ordered the 200 residents of Acebuchal, suspected of supporting the guerrillas, to abandon their homes. It became known as the "Lost Village" until 1998 when it was gradually restored.
